I’m Andrea Hill, I own HMC, and I blog on business, professional and personal development, and (sometimes) on social issues (when something really gets under my skin). Here’s where you’ll find those blogs:
I write about business issues in the thinking/critical blog. These posts cover the full range of business ideas, from leadership and management, to strategy, marketing, and operations. I also do a daily business tweet on Twitter, offering a micro-blogging experience for those who only have a second or two for their daily business insights.
For MentorWerx I write the MentorWords Blog, focusing on professional and personal development issues. For the only-got-a-second professional development crowd, there’s a tweet for you too.
Not often, but sometimes, I feel the need to spout off about topical or social issues. I try not to infringe on my business subscribers sensibilities with these things, so I write them at Public Rhetoric.
The writing is for fun. To earn a living, I own HMC, which provides three distinct business services. StrategyWerx (formerly Hill Management Consulting) offers growth management and strategy services for small-to-mid sized corporations. Our specialty is creating a clear path to growth and profitability for smaller companies.
MentorWerx offers business coaching for independent professionals, small business owners, and executive-track managers.
SupportWerx offers a full range of marketing, web, social media, analytical, administrative, and event/meeting management services for small businesses.
Finally, I do take on a small number of personal coaching clients each year, and I provide free life coaching services for a community service organization. This work provides me with great joy, I believe through it I provide meaningful assistance to my clients, and I hope to be able to devote more of my time to this work in the years to come.
